Brief information
- Founded in 1957 as a Research Design Institute (RDI) «Neftekhimavtomat»
- 1985: establishment of a Research Production Association «Neftgazavtomat» consisting of: RDI «Neftekhimavtomat» (parent enterprise), “Instruments” & “Industrial Automation & Telemechanics” plants in Ali-Bayramly (now Shirvan) and Baku “Geophizpribor” plant.
- till 1993 was operating within the system of the Ex.USSR Ministry of Instrument Engineering
- 1993-2005: operated under the Azerbaijan Republic State Committee for Special Engineering & Conversion
- since 2006 is operating under subordination of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Azerbaijan Republic as a Research Production Enterprise (RPE) «Neftgazavtomat».
- International and state awards for the achievements in the field.
- Certificate of compliance to the requirements of the international standards ISO 9001-2000 is available.
- Holds License of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Azerbaijan Republic to conduct erection works and maintenance at risk area objects.
- Test lab, accredited by the State Agency on Standardization, Metrology & Patent Research is available
