The inert sample of the “QFAB-250 LG” aircraft bomb, designed at the enterprises of the Ministry of Defence Industry demonstrates for the first time at the “IDEF-2019” and cause great interest among the visitors.

The laser-guided, 250-kilogram HE fragmentation aircraft bomb was created under the joint project, prepared by Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Defence Industry and Turkish company “ASELSAN”. Three samples of air bombs have already been created and are planned to be tested. After completion of trial of inert samples, it is planned to carry out tests of combat samples.

“QFAB-250 LG aircraft bomb having length of 3,300 millimeters, diameter of 240 millimeters, weight of 270 kilograms and will allow hit the target by deviation of 10 meters at the distance of 12,000 meters.

“QFAB-250 LG” aircraft bomb was created according to NATO standards and is designed to meet domestic needs, as well as intended for export.
